Responsibilities & Context: Objective: We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales & Marketing Lead (Field Operations) who will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying and onboarding new clients, strengthening partnerships, and executing impactful on-ground marketing campaigns. This role demands a combination of strong field sales expertise, client acquisition skills, and hands-on leadership to ensure consistent revenue generation and brand presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Conduct field visits to retail outlets, corporate clients, and distribution partners to generate leads and sales.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective client follow-up and conversion.
- Identify and onboard new clients, resellers, and institutional partners to expand market coverage.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to increase repeat sales and customer loyalty.
- Gather and report market insights on competitors, pricing, and customer preferences to support strategic decisions.
Marketing & Activation
- Plan and implement on-ground marketing campaigns, product samplings, and promotional events.
- Support digital marketing initiatives by linking online campaigns with offline conversions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure branding materials (banners, flyers, POS displays) are well-designed, placed, and maintained.
- Ensure consistent brand visibility and compliance across all field marketing activities.
Data & Reporting
- Track and document daily visits, leads, and conversions using CRM tools or Excel.
- Submit daily/weekly performance reports covering client interactions, activity outcomes, and competitor insights.
- Recommend new marketing and sales strategies based on real-time market observations.
Coordination & Leadership
- Lead, train, and motivate field promoters or junior sales representatives to achieve team targets.
- Coordinate closely with central marketing and management teams for planning and performance alignment.
- Ensure seamless execution of field operations in line with company objectives and standards.
