Responsibilities & Context:

Meghna Social Health and Development Foundation (MSHDF) is seeking a qualified, energetic, and experienced Civil Engineer (Tender & Project Management) to support construction projects, tender management, and technical operations. The successful candidate will have practical experience with Bangladesh's Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) system, project estimation, and field supervision to ensure the effective implementation of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, submit, and manage tender documents through the Bangladesh e-GP system.

  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, rate analyses, and other technical documentation.

  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

  • Monitor project progress and prepare technical reports.

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and tender requirements.

  • Conduct regular site visits and provide technical support to project teams.

  • Maintain project records, technical documents, and project correspondence.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

    Additional Requirements

    • Age: 23–40 years

    • Sound knowledge of the Bangladesh e-GP (Electronic Government Procurement) system.

    • Hands-on experience in preparing, submitting, and managing tender documents.

    • Practical experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, rate analysis, and technical documentation.

    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

    • Strong communication, documentation, and report-writing skills.

    • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

    • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

    • Motorcycle riding is mandatory, as the role involves frequent field visits.
