Responsibilities & Context:
Meghna Social Health and Development Foundation (MSHDF) is seeking a qualified, energetic, and experienced Civil Engineer (Tender & Project Management) to support construction projects, tender management, and technical operations. The successful candidate will have practical experience with Bangladesh's Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) system, project estimation, and field supervision to ensure the effective implementation of infrastructure projects.
Prepare, submit, and manage tender documents through the Bangladesh e-GP system.
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, rate analyses, and other technical documentation.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
Monitor project progress and prepare technical reports.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and tender requirements.
Conduct regular site visits and provide technical support to project teams.
Maintain project records, technical documents, and project correspondence.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements
Age: 23–40 years
Sound knowledge of the Bangladesh e-GP (Electronic Government Procurement) system.
Hands-on experience in preparing, submitting, and managing tender documents.
Practical experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, rate analysis, and technical documentation.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Strong communication, documentation, and report-writing skills.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Motorcycle riding is mandatory, as the role involves frequent field visits.
