Responsibilities & Context:

1. Lead and manage the construction supervision consultancy team throughout the project implementation period.

2. Act as the primary point of contact between the Client, Contractor, and other project stakeholders.

3. Ensure construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable codes and standards.

4. Coordinate the activities of structural, MEP, geotechnical, quantity surveying, environmental, and other specialist supervision staff.

5. Monitor project progress, construction quality, schedule, and budget, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.

6. Administer the construction contract, including review of variation orders, extension of time claims, payment certificates, and contractual correspondence.

7. Chair or participate in site meetings, progress review meetings, and technical coordination meetings.

8. Ensure effective implementation of quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.

9. Review and approve contractors' work programs, method statements, shop drawings, material submittals, and construction schedules in coordination with relevant specialists.

10. Review interim payment certificates, certify completed works, and recommend payments to the Client.

11. Monitor project risks and recommend mitigation measures to ensure successful project delivery.

12. Prepare and submit inception, monthly progress, technical, and completion reports to the Client.

13. Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, substantial completion, final acceptance, and project handover.

14. Ensure that as-built drawings, operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals, warranties, and other close-out documents are complete and compliant before project completion.
