• Postgraduate degree in Finance, Risk Management, or related field (FRM/CFA preferred).

• At least 15 years

• Minimum 15 years of experience in banking risk management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Practical understanding of Basel regulations, ICAAP/ILAAP, and credit grading systems as per BB guidelines.

• Strong command of risk modeling tools and regulatory reporting platforms.

Job Description:

The CRO will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive risk management framework that complies with Bangladesh Bank's risk governance standards, including Basel III requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, monitor, and manage credit, market, liquidity, operational, and reputational risks.
• Develop the bank’s ICAAP, Risk Appetite Framework, and Stress Testing processes.
• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank risk circulars and guidelines.
• Report key risk indicators (KRIs) to the Risk Management Committee and Board.
• Implement early warning systems and lead risk assessment for new products and policies.
• Coordinate BB inspections related to risk and address findings efficiently.
