  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Hands-on experience with Gantt Chart tools, MS Project, or Primavera.
  • Strong skills in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Experience in financial modeling, feasibility analysis, and ROI/IRR calculations. Knowledge of PPR, Tax/VAT rules, and donor/grant reporting. 
  • Clear understanding of both government and private tender processes.
  • Interest and proficiency in using new software, AI-based analytics, and automation tools.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. High level of integrity, leadership qualities, and sound decision-making capability.


Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. The CFO will be responsible for strategic financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, project financing, and compliance management for both public and private sector projects, especially in the renewable energy and construction sectors.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Construction Project Finance:

  • Lead the budgeting, analysis, and execution of both government and private construction projects.

  • Prepare project-wise cash flow, ROI (Return on Investment), and break-even analysis.

  • Monitor financial planning using Gantt Charts and other project management tools.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Develop and analyze the company`s long-term financial plans.

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Loan & Investment Analysis:

  • Prepare feasibility reports for securing loans from banks and financial institutions.

  • Analyze interest rates, terms, and returns to support sound financing decisions.

Tender & Compliance Management:

  • Prepare, review, and present the financial components of government and private tenders.

  • Ensure compliance with PPA, PPR, and other relevant government regulations.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and analyze financial risks and develop effective risk mitigation plans.

  • Evaluate currency risk, market volatility, and interest rate fluctuations.

General Accounting Oversight:

  • Supervise accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.

  • Coordinate both external and internal audit processes.

Team Leadership & Strategy:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the Accounts, Finance, and FP&A teams.

  • Collaborate with top management to make strategic financial decisions.
