Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom), Master of Business Administration (MBA)
∎ Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
∎ Minimum 03 years of proven experience in logistic and financial management or a related role.
∎ Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial analysis
∎ Proficient in the use of financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Administration, Coordination, Finance, Project Management/ Co-ordinator, Research Support
Job Context:
∎ Reporting to Trial Manager and Principal Investigator
∎ This position will work closely with the field team and the field based finance officer.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain and oversee day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable for MVDA project activities
∎ Process invoices, expense claims, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
∎ Ensure that the project's financial system follows internationally agreed accounting standard
∎ Ensure donor and Govt. (TAX & VAT) compliance are met in financial records and reporting
∎ Maintain and prepare all kind of financial statement
∎ Ensure proper authorization and documentation for all financial transactions.
∎ Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve issues with accuracy and attention to detail
∎ Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations
∎ Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statement report monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
∎ Ensure the required logistics and stationeries support for training, meeting and workshop
∎ Ensure logistic support for the field level project activities
∎ Assist in internal and external audits, providing required documentation and explanations of project activities.
∎ Conduct any other activities related to project assigned by Trial Manager and Principal Investigator.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Sensitive to local diverse community and culture in the Chittagong hill tracts
∎ Proactive to initiate in problem solving matters related to finance
