Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting, Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
∎ MBA in Accounting & Finance
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: CA or ICMA or ACCA qualification will be given preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Accounting, Accounts and Finance, Audit, Budgetary Control, Business Planning and Budgeting, Cost & Management Accounting, Product Costing and budgeting, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax), Tax and VAT
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Group of Companies, Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry), Trading or Export/Import
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Chief Accountant will be responsible for handling accounts & Finance of a manufacturing company independently.
∎ Conducting cost analysis including with good knowledge of costing to maximize product margin.
∎ Should have depth knowledge in all the latest laws of VAT, Tax, Customs etc.
∎ Responsible for business forecast and preparation of financial statement, budgeting and its implementation to prepare a budget variance report.
∎ Oversee day-to-day accounts, invoice, cash management, and internal financial reporting.
∎ Time to time reporting accurately as per requirements of management.
∎ Continually reviews work practices and procedures for better operational efficiency and potential issues in accounts, financial processes and controls and proactively raise management attention to act and resolve.
∎ Develop compliance process and manage team with leadership knowledge.
∎ Responsible for fraud analysis and strictly monitoring any type of revenue leakages.
∎ Cooperate and provide accounts for auditing and facing outer audit with confident.
∎ Present business and financial statement to board of directors.
∎ Ability to correspondence with bank and financial institutes to process credit line etc.
∎ Should have ability to handle and monitor VAT & Tax related work independently.
∎ Monitor day to day accounting, finance and banking related work regularly.
∎ Product costing, product price setup reasonably to maximize company profit.
∎ Monitor day to day entry in software to ensure up to date accounting report daily.
∎ Item wise product cost entry in software.
∎ Correspondence with bank, financial institutes and insurance companies to meetup financial needs of the company.
∎ Maintain liaison with VAT & TAX department to minimize any risk.
∎ Monitor and supervise VTA & Tax works and ensure that all the record is being kept properly.
∎ Up to date monthly loan position in google document.
∎ Up to date monthly stock position & shipment schedule in google document.
∎ Up to date monthly collection and area-wise target achievement report.
∎ Oversees bank reconciliation statement.
∎ Supervise accounts receivable to minimize ageing of outstanding balance.
∎ All other financial and accounting work as required as per situation of the company and as per decision f the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 50 years

∎ The candidate must have the following Professional Competencies:
∎ Progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a large manufacturing company
∎ Excellent knowledge of the English language along with up to date knowledge of accounting
∎ Good knowledge of ERP accounting packages, preferably Tally ERP
∎ Very good knowledge of MS Office applications and especially Excel
∎ High standards of business ethics and professional conduct
∎ Strong analytical and problem solving skills
∎ Capacity to organize time and plan actions effectively so as to meet simultaneous deadlines
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Perseverance and results orientation
∎ Precision and reliability; ability to work autonomously
