Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Plan and organize the delivery schedules for chicks.
∎ Coordinate with farms to confirm delivery times and quantities.
∎ Ensure availability of appropriate transport vehicles.
∎ Maintain responsibility for performing all duties in compliance with related legal/statutory, regulations, professional duties, responsibilities and obligations as applicable.
∎ Contribute to training and development of the team and organization as needed.
∎ Ensure chicks are handled and transported in optimal conditions (temperature, ventilation, hygiene).
∎ Monitor the health and safety of chicks during loading, transport, and unloading.
∎ Maintain accurate records of chicks dispatched and received.
∎ Report any losses, damages, or discrepancies in quantity.
∎ Prepare and manage delivery notes, invoices, and other relevant documents.
∎ Ensure proper record-keeping for audit and traceability.
∎ Liaise between hatcheries, farm managers, and transport staff.
∎ Provide updates on delivery status and resolve issues promptly.
∎ Ensure adherence to animal welfare regulations and biosecurity protocols.
∎ Follow industry standards and company policies.
