Job Summary

The Center Manager is responsible for the overall management, operations, and performance of the center. This includes supervising staff, ensuring the effective delivery of programs and services, maintaining operational standards, managing resources, and creating a safe and welcoming environment for participants. This role will also be responsible for local stakeholder engagement and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day center operations, including logistics, scheduling, maintenance, and acquisition.
  • Branding and promoting the Career Hub image among the university community.
  • Ensure that the center operates in compliance with organizational policies and safety standards.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory and procurement of supplies/equipment.
  • Supervise and support all center staff, including trainers, support staff, and interns.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations.
  • Identify capacity development needs and organize necessary training.
  • Coordinate and ensure the smooth implementation of all training, career expos, services, and other activities.
  • Monitor quality of delivery and participant satisfaction.
  • Support trainers/facilitators in planning and delivering sessions effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders, including club leaders, partners, employers, and institutions.
  • Promote the center and its services to maximize outreach and impact.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, activities, feedback, and impact data.
  • Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly reports to the Head Office or Project Team.
  • Ensure timely documentation of success stories, challenges, and lessons learned.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
