∎ Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
∎ Ability to manage time effectively and remain composed under pressure.
∎ Basic financial and inventory management skills
∎ .Flexibility to work during early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
∎ Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office.
∎ Proficient in handling Canteen Management Software (CMS) and skilled in generating reports using MS Excel on a computer.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee daily activities to ensure the smooth functioning of the canteen.
∎ Supervise food preparation, service, and storage to maintain quality and freshness.
∎ Ensure adherence to operational budgets and achieve profitability goals.
∎ Prepare daily and monthly requirement and prepare requisition on timely manner.
∎ Manage and schedule canteen staff to ensure adequate coverage during working hours.
∎ Provide training to staff on food safety, hygiene, and customer service.
∎ Monitor staff performance and address issues in a timely manner.
∎ Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
∎ Handle customer complaints and feedback effectively.
∎ Monitor inventory levels and procure food and supplies as required.
∎ Maintain accurate records of stock usage and implement measures to minimize wastage.
∎ Ensure the canteen complies with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
∎ Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and proper equipment maintenance.
∎ Implement workplace safety protocols for staff.
∎ Assist in cash handling and maintain accurate sales and expense records.
∎ Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and financial reports.
∎ Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
∎ Stay updated on food service trends and suggest menu improvements as needed.
∎ Job Summary:
∎ The Catering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the canteen and patient dining, ensuring efficient and high-quality food service, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and managing staff to deliver an excellent dining experience.
