∎ Knowledge of retail industry trends and consumer behavior.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop season-wise product lines and execute complete merchandising plans to optimize sales, margins, and inventory turnover.
∎ Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
∎ Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional terms with suppliers.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
∎ Oversee product assortment, placement, and visual merchandising guidelines.
∎ Collaborate with store teams to implement category plans effectively.
∎ Monitor category performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies accordingly.
∎ Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on category trends and performance.
∎ Work closely with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of category objectives with company goals.
∎ Provide training and support to showroom teams on category-specific products and strategies.
