Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitor daily store sales to track performance and identify trends in non-pharma categories.
∎ Conduct store gap analysis to determine opportunities for business growth.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to drive category sales and improve store profitability.
∎ Design store specific campaigns to increase customer awareness eventually converting to sales.
∎ Take initiatives to ensure customer footfall growth in the stores.
∎ Analyze product performance reports to identify best-selling items and slow-moving stock.
∎ Ensure availability of top-selling products by placing timely orders and coordinating with supply chain teams.
∎ Optimize inventory planning to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
∎ Identify store merchandising opportunities to enhance product visibility and customer engagement.
∎ Work closely with the marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to execute effective merchandising strategies.
∎ Ensure implementation of promotional displays and marketing campaigns at the store level.
∎ Work closely with store teams to ensure execution of category growth strategies.
∎ Train and guide field/store teams on product placements, sales techniques, and merchandising best practices.
∎ Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to align on business goals and execution plans.
∎ Job Summary:
∎ We are seeking a proactive and analytical Category Growth Manager with 3 to 4 years of experience in store performance management, store growth, and store gap analysis within the pharmacy or retail industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth for non-pharma categories by tracking store sales, identifying opportunities, ensuring top-selling product availability, and optimizing store merchandising. This role requires a strong ability to manage field/store teams, analyze sales data, and collaborate with multiple departments to maximize category performance.
