Responsibilities & Context:
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the establishment.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely and in accordance with company policies.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding menu items, prices, and special offers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and surrounding area.
- Collaborate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered promptly.
- Upsell additional menu items or promotions to increase sales revenue.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues with patience and professionalism.
- Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift and generate reports for management.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
- Assist with other duties as needed, such as restocking supplies or assisting with food preparation during busy periods.
