Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure each survivor's case is reported and able to access the necessary services (medical, psychosocial, legal, rehabilitation etc.) via the referral pathway.
∎ Identify any issues with the referral pathway and work with relevant project staff and local authorities to address them.
∎ Work in close collaboration with the community mobilisers to strengthen the relationship with the community
∎ Organize weekly case management meeting with all case workers and provide necessary support
∎ Ensure constant and transparent communication and collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including monobondhus, community members, community leaders, families, and govt: officials
∎ Submit weekly case management reports and ensure that information is kept up to date.
∎ Coordinate with other agencies offering case management services to survivors on referral and transfer of cases
∎ Create safe environment and provide psychosocial support to the victims especially the children, women and sheltering the vulnerable
∎ Ability to work under pressure; be flexible in challenging situation; excellent interpersonal and communication skill
∎ Raise the community voice against child abuse, harassment, sexual and domestic violence against women and engage community people.
∎ Establish a mechanism for incident prevention along with awareness building of the community people.
∎ Maintain effective partnership with different department of BRAC, especially with HCMP
∎ Establish prompt response service and active one stop crisis center.
∎ Finding out a way out to minimize the incident across intervention area
∎ Involve local people to respond against violence and a functional committee to prevent incidents
∎ Ensure team members' safety from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme's safeguarding implementation goals. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years working experience with GBV, case management, psychosocial issue, mental health and legal advisory. Candidates having a proven track of working in legal service at humanitarian context will be preferred.
∎ Theoretical understanding on case management, GBV, Nature of violence against women and role of community
∎ Knowledge on legal service pattern and seeking behavior among community people
∎ Knowledge on socio-cultural context of particular area alongside evidence of gender-based violence
∎ Sound Knowledge in case management
∎ Rescue process and rehabilitation of the victims without indulging the project or organization in any conflict or risk
∎ Skills in case management mechanism, establish accountability and feedback mechanism
∎ Dealing with legal aid services and civil society skills
∎ Capture lesson learnt, reporting and troubleshooting under challenging situation skills
