Responsibilities & Context:

Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) <www.ypsa.org> is an organization for sustainable development working in the greater Chattogram division including Chattogram Hill Tracts (CHT) since 1985 (International Youth Year). YPSA is implementing a project titled “Youth from Host Communities and Rohingya Camps in Cox’s Bazar as Agents of Change” (YPSA-YHCRCCAC Project)” at Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar. The project is being implemented with fund from the Federal German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and technical support from Plan International Bangladesh.

Job Title: Case Management Supervisor

Duration: Up to 31 March 2026

Job Responsibilities:

  • Case Management Supervisor is responsible for field level Case management implementation as a priorities defined by the Humanitarian Crisis Response Program. S/he will work closely with Case workers/Officer and project coordinator to provide relevant technical expertise and informed support to quality case management.

  • Assist to design training and Provide opportunities for capacity building to field level team in case management process, procedure and relevant interventions among others.

  • Conduct regular supervision meetings with caseworkers/assign assistant for case management to ensure the effectiveness of case management process.

  • Review the follow up of cases, and ensure all cases are managed within acceptable timelines

  • Work in close collaboration with the community systems to strengthen the relationship with the community in line with the referral system

  • Work with the relevant team and stakeholders especially protection ,education and SOYEE team to ensure close links between case management and YPSA’s work with community protection mechanism, DICs, learning centers among others

  • Ensure internal and external referral mechanisms (with other sectors) are in place and cases are appropriately managed and followed up when referred

  • Ensure safeguarding compliance (this include visitors and media protocols, partnering with communities and other agencies or CBOs and children participation) with YPSA policies, CPSS and standards and guidelines.

  • Take part an implementation of case management program interventions, manage and support other Program Implementation Team including Coaching with clear standards of accountability

  • Ensure field level coordination with other sectors such as education GBV, site management and sector/Camp coordination

  • Collaborate with teams to generate activity concept notes and review financial reports to maintain accurate spending reports and up-to-date budgets.

  • Generate and maintain the case management and CPiE implementation plans

  • Ensure community level participation for men, women, boys and girls taking into account local needs

  • Follow up with Camp and Host level accountability staff to respond to feedback from areas of implementation to strengthen case management implementation

  • Coordinate and support establishment of CP/CM data base to contribute to the indicator reporting

  • Develop case management activities that mainstream child safeguarding while working with other sectors.

  • Facilitate donor’s field visit to ensure proper communication and relationships between Plan International and communities.

  • Participate and review projects evaluations in close coordination with the internal and/or external evaluator.

  • Maintain professional relationship with key stakeholder of PSS.

  • Ensure proper communication with sector focal in camp level, team member, supervisor and provide timely report on PSS. Ensure YPSA Vision is appropriately represented during CiC meetings, CP focal point meetings, case conferencing, DSS Upazila level meetings among others.

  • Link case workers with service providers and support effective collaboration

  • Ensure constant and transparent communication and collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including community members, community leaders and families.

  • Compile quantitative and qualitative reports while updating Case management database.

  • Facilitated allocated projects’ information and documentation processes, and ensure effective communication of the project results.

  • Work closely with the team to generate reports

  • Ensure that files, registers and computer databases are used in an appropriate and correct manner and ensure case workers adhere to proper documentation and data protection protocols

  • Capacity-building training conducted for CP staff and case management volunteers.

  • Support Project Coordinator in identifying, designing, and facilitating training on Case Management.

  • Conduct camp-based capacity-building training with community people, CBCPC, Community leaders and stakeholders on Case Management.

  • She/ He will develop different schedules, modules and guidelines according to the project needs.

  • Assist Project Coordinator for qualitative reporting (Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly/ Event Report) to the Donor and 5W report to the sub-sector.

  • Maintain good communication with the Plan International Bangladesh Protection and Child Protection team and Stakeholders to adhere the child protection concerns.
