∎ Location: Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar, Bangladesh
∎ Contract duration: Up to September 2020, full-time position (with possibility of contract extension)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Operational/Context Role:
∎ Agrajattra is looking for a dedicated Case Management Officer for our new 3-Year Child Protection Project in Cox's Bazar (Rohingya focused), titled, "Bridging the Gaps: Strengthening Mental Health Support for Children and Young People". Our planned project has three key components: strengthening the collective resilience of the Rohingya community, strengthening the individual resilience of children and adolescents, and expanding access to mental health services through the provision of psycho social support and case management for children in need and at risk.
∎ The main responsibility of the Case Management Officer will be to support the Project Coordinator in the implementation of the project through overseeing the case management component of the project. In particular, the Case Management Officer will supervise the community volunteer caseworkers.
∎ Key Responsibilities: 1. General
∎ Identify and report trends and risks that children and adolescents face in the camps and recommend next steps to address any emerging risks and issues.
∎ Support community volunteer caseworkers to succeed in their roles through close supervision, mentoring and coaching
∎ Facilitate weekly caseworker meetings and organize weekly one-to-one with caseworkers
∎ Identify the capacity gaps of community volunteer caseworkers and ensure appropriate activities and actions are in place to build the capacity of community volunteer case workers
∎ Support caseworkers emotionally in their case management work and their reactions to their work
∎ Provide direct case management for complex cases
∎ Map referral pathways and ensure that every child or adolescent can access other available services
∎ Coordinate with other actors to ensure referral and the transfer of cases where Agrajattra does not have the capacity or specialized support
∎ Ensure that Agrajattra's case management work is rooted in the community, in particular ensure linkages between Agrajattra's case management work, protection committees in the camps, and beneficiary feedback mechanisms
∎ Data entry into CPIMS+ and ensure the quality of case management data
∎ Other duties as assigned.
∎ 2. Reporting :
∎ Submit weekly case management reports and ensure all information is updated
∎ 3. Networking :
∎ Represent Agrajattra at the Case Management Working Group and other appropriate forum
∎ 4. Leadership Behaviour :

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 45 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience:
∎ At least Three years working experience in humanitarian programming.
∎ Demonstrated experience and commitment to working with marginalized communities.
∎ Experience in child protection in protracted crisis / early recovery a significant advantage
∎ Experience working in Rohingya camps is a significant advantage
∎ At least One-year experience in case management
∎ Upholds humanitarian values and principles
∎ Language
∎ Fluency in English and Bangla (written and spoken) and excellent writing skills.
∎ Rohingya or Chittagonian language skills is a significant advantage
∎ Technical Skills
∎ Strong analytical, reporting, strategic thinking and planning skills
∎ Strong case management skills, follow up reporting and maintaining confidentiality
∎ Strong monitoring and evaluation skills/experience
∎ Knowledge of project cycle management.
