Al Noor Eye Hospital invites applications from qualified and experienced medical professionals for the position of Cardiology Consultant to support preoperative cardiac assessment services for patients scheduled for eye surgery.

Employment Type: Full-time or flexible/part-time, based on mutual agreement
Educational Qualifications
MBBS with a recognised postgraduate qualification, fellowship, diploma, or specialised training in Cardiology.
Candidates with MD (Cardiology), FCPS (Cardiology), D-Card, or equivalent recognised qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with relevant short-term or long-term cardiology training and demonstrable experience in ECG and echocardiography interpretation may also be considered, subject to verification of their qualifications and professional scope of practice.
Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret ECG and echocardiography reports of patients scheduled for eye surgery.
Conduct preoperative cardiovascular assessments when indicated.
Identify cardiac risks and recommend further investigations, treatment, or specialist referral when necessary.
Provide documented medical opinions regarding cardiovascular risk and readiness for surgery within the consultant's professional scope.
Coordinate with ophthalmologists, anaesthesiologists, and other relevant medical professionals.
Maintain accurate patient records and assessment documentation.
Salary and Benefits
Attractive Salary: Salary will be offered based on qualifications, professional experience, expertise, duty hours, and the agreed scope of responsibilities.
Higher Remuneration for Full-Time Duty: Candidates who commit to the full-time schedule of 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM may receive higher remuneration than those opting for a flexible or part-time arrangement.
Flexible Working Arrangements: Duty hours and schedules can be negotiated with hospital management to suit both parties.
Three Bonuses Annually: Eligible consultants will receive three bonuses per year, subject to the agreed employment terms.
Annual Salary Increment: Salary increments will be provided in accordance with hospital policy and the agreed employment terms.
Mutually Agreed Employment Terms: The final salary, benefits, duty schedule, and other conditions will be determined through discussion between the candidate and hospital management.
