Experience: At least 4 years of overall experience in Design, Installation and Monitoring of Electrical activities.
Language: Fluency in spoken and written both in English and Bangla language.
Responsibilities & Context
BACKGROUND: To provide electrical design, budgeting, new installation, maintenance and repair works of WFP infrastructures, generators or other means of electrical items including support in planning and organization of work in the workshop.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (not all-inclusive, nor exhaustive):
Design electrical system, prepare drawings, Bill of Quantities (BoQ), project timeline and material schedules.
Provide hands-on technical support technician(s) and advice during implementation.
Should apply best practices, standards and incorporating Bangladesh - specific technical requirements that comply with all national and international standards and processes.
Conduct/carry - out the required/necessary electrical test as applicable.
Evaluate systems and components by designing tests to check functionality, safety and reliability.
Prepare accurate and timely reports on outputs to facilitate informed decision-making consistent with design, drawings, and electrical installations.
Diagnose errors in electrical assemblies and fix performance issues.
Shall have knowledge of renewable energy (solar system) and LPS system.
Shall have knowledge of preparation of Tender and contract documentations.
Provide technical guidance and training to the operators, cooperating partners, vendors etc.
