• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing or any relevant discipline
• 8–10+ years of proven experience in Sample Management / Technical Sample support within export-oriented RMG
• Strong expertise in garment construction, pattern/fit, measurements, fabrics, trims, washing, and finishing techniques
• Excellent capability in technical problem identification, root-cause analysis, and practical solution development
• Strong knowledge of sample development stages, Tech Pack interpretation, POM, construction specifications, and buyer comments
• Experience with Proto, Fit, Size Set, PP and other buyer-required sample stages
• Strong understanding of sample costing, material utilization, T&A and development efficiency
• Proven team leadership, training, coordination, communication, and decision-making capability
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, sample tracking/MIS, documentation, and reporting

Fashion Step Group is seeking an experienced and technically strong Sample Manager (Technical) to lead end-to-end sample development, ensuring accurate execution of buyer requirements, technical specifications, and quality standards.

Lead the complete sampling process from development and technical evaluation through approval, revision, and final sample readiness, while resolving technical challenges and ensuring timely execution.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

• Manage end-to-end sample development from initial development through buyer approval
• Interpret and execute Tech Packs, measurement specifications, construction details, approved references, and buyer requirements
• Coordinate with Design, Merchandising, Pattern, Technical, Production, Fabric, Trims, Washing, and external partners
• Identify and resolve garment construction, fit, measurement, fabric, trims, wash, and finishing-related technical issues
• Track sample T&A, status, approvals, comments, revisions, and resubmissions to ensure timely delivery
• Ensure sample accuracy, workmanship, fit, construction, and technical compliance before submission
• Maintain systematic sample records, tracking sheets, approvals, comments, and technical documentation
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process efficiency, and faster sample development
• Lead, mentor, train, and monitor the performance of the Sample Technical team
• Drive effective communication and technical problem-solving across sampling stakeholders
