Job Context:
∎ Maintaining Access to Safe Water and Sanitation for Rohingyas in Bangladesh Project.
∎ To work closely with the management for IM management and reportingto ensuring the better information management services and overall reporting and documentation services of the WASH project in Cox’s Bazar.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Information Management:
∎ Implement and regularly update the Information Management Strategy and the Disseminate all information management related products to the management and relevant sectors.
∎ Develop and update Open Data Kits (ODK) forms to ensure high quality data collection.
∎ Provide practical training for data enumerators and supervisors.
∎ Develop organizational capacity for multimedia and information alerting usage.
∎ Collect and disseminate all kind of information management related products produced by relevant cluster, UN agencies and other agency.
∎ Design necessary data collection forms, ensuring that the purpose and use of data collected is clear and that questions are simple, clear and collectable,
∎ Conduct needs and gap identification for the relevant sector based on the data collected.
∎ Develop an information-sharing platform as a web-portal.
∎ Perform advisory and technical assignments in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
∎ Organize and maintain GIS data of all WASH facilities in accordance with the relevant data management protocols.
∎ Update 4W matrix with collect information and data from field.
∎ Identify appropriate secondary data and information resources.
∎ Identify and address information management gaps, and facilitate information sharing between field and project offices through the organizational web portal.
∎ Regularly map the project facilities and any other useful facilities connected to the WSH sector as per WASH sector.
∎ Provide emergency response information support to the management.
∎ • Work closely with the project management to ensure consistency and accuracy of the information collected from field,
∎ Provide Information Management services to support monitoring activities within the working refugee camps.
∎ Participate in Cluster and inter-cluster meetings representing the deploying organization, and provide the necessary support in presenting the relevant data and information.
∎ Documentation:
∎ Ensure monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly progress report preparation in a timely manner.
∎ Develop different kind of quality documentations, stories considering project progress and positive changes in people’s lives throughout the project implementation.
∎ Produce case studies, best practices, field experiences, newsletter, e-bulletins and other advocacy materials.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Professional experience in IM related activities.
∎ Experience in use of tablets & smartphones and associated software.
∎ Experience in data collection through KOBO software and other mobile application software.
∎ Able to oversee multiple tasks, prioritising and delegating as required.
∎ Knowledge of different data collection methodologies.
∎ Ability to formulate IM-related technical requirements and Operating Procedures.
∎ Good report writing skills.
∎ Gender sensitive.
∎ Fluent both in English and Bengali.
∎ Able to communicate in local language (Cox’s Bazar, Burmees).
∎ Willingness to work under pressure during emergency response.
∎ Proven skills to analyses statistical information.
∎ Positive attitude as development worker, team worker and accommodative within team at community level along with development partners.
∎ Willingness to work in Refugee Camps.
∎ Willingness to work under pressure during emergency response.
Salary: Tk. 75000 (Monthly)
