Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline with preference Masters in Development Studies (MDS) / Social Science / Political Science / Engineering from recognized university with good academic track record.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate WASH activities in Camp
∎ Lead WASH coordination meetings at the camp level
∎ To act as the sole representative of the WASH Sector at camp level
∎ To monitor and report monthly to the WASH Executive on all partners and agencies working in WASH activities in their respective camps.
∎ To ensure the emergency preparedness levels including stocks in their camp, meet sector standard and and report these monthly to the WASH Sector, the CiC and AFA.
∎ To act as the focal point for WASH Sector engagement with other sectors in the camp.
∎ Take full responsibility to ensure the regular operation and maintenance done by the WASH implementing agencies – this should be a prior agreement before any new construction, if not, should be relayed back to AFA to WASH Sector Coordination Unit.
∎ Work closely with Site Managers/CiC to ensure they are aware of the WASH Camp Focal Point role and that the WASH Camp Focal Point is the first point of call for any WASH concerns at the camp;
∎ Based on the need, coordinate with key sectors such as shelter, education, nutrition and health on inter-sectoral camp issues. Provide technical support/guidance of construction and management of institutional WASH facilities are agreed upon.
∎ Routinely monitor all aspects of WASH, including the routine use of the REACH Water and Sanitation data sheets, in the camp to ensure that minimum standards are met, where they are not, FP should inform the AFA then advocate with WASH Sector Coordination Unit / others.
∎ Should this advocacy fail to bear fruit the Camp Focal point should inform the Area Focal Point as well with WASH sector coordinator to have the gaps filled.
∎ Report any WASH gaps or overlaps in relation to WASH sector standards to the Area Focal agency and keep the WASH sector Coordinators informed of progress and any issues at the camp
∎ Reinforce to all WASH actors in the Camp, the need to ensure standards and quality is met for all infrastructure, distributions and community engagement. Resource and capacity gaps need to be conveyed to Area Focal Agency and WASH Sector Coordination Unit.
∎ Key responsibilities will be aligned with Sector ToR for Camp Focal point.

∎ Good knowledge on Water and Sanitation issues and Hygiene practices
∎ Good knowledge on Humanitarian context
∎ Good knowledge on community mobilization & function
∎ Have good report writing skills
∎ Have strong negotiation skills
∎ Strong communication skills both English and Bengali
∎ Leadership and Team work skills
∎ Experience on partner dealings
∎ Experience on liaison with Govt. / NGO stakeholders
∎ Knowledge of MS office, MS Excel, MS Power Point
∎ Ability to work well under pressure and in response to changing needs.

Salary: Tk. 82500 (Monthly)
