Responsibilities & Context:
Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments, medical services, etc.
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments with healthcare providers.
Provide accurate information about medical procedures, and pre-appointment requirements.
Assist patients with prescription refill requests and direct medical concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals.
Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations.
Document call details, patient information, and follow-up actions accurately in the system.
Escalate complex issues to the relevant department or supervisor.
Handle emergency and non-emergency calls with professionalism and empathy.
