Responsibilities & Context:
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments, medical services, etc.

  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments with healthcare providers.

  • Provide accurate information about medical procedures, and pre-appointment requirements.

  • Assist patients with prescription refill requests and direct medical concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals.

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations.

  • Document call details, patient information, and follow-up actions accurately in the system.

  • Escalate complex issues to the relevant department or supervisor.

  • Handle emergency and non-emergency calls with professionalism and empathy.
