Responsibilities & Context:
ACI Motors looking for a Business Development Manager (Lithium Battery Business) to develop and grow the lithium battery business by identifying new market opportunities, building strategic customer and channel relationships, and driving sustainable revenue and profitability.
Principal Accountabilities:
Develop and execute the market-entry and business development strategy for the lithium battery business.
Lead the end-to-end establishment of the lithium battery manufacturing facility, including feasibility assessment, technology-partner coordination, plant and equipment planning, regulatory approvals, installation, commissioning, and commencement of commercial operations.
Build a strong opportunity pipeline across electric three-wheelers, energy storage, solar, telecom and industrial applications.
Develop strategic relationships with manufacturers, technology partners, OEMs, financiers, dealers, EPCs and key customers.
Create competitive commercial propositions, including pricing, channel structures, financing models and partnership frameworks.
Lead key-account acquisition, proposal development, contract negotiation and conversion of qualified opportunities.
Conduct market, competitor and feasibility analyses to guide product selection, investment decisions and demand forecasts.
Evaluate localisation and battery assembly opportunities and prepare business cases and implementation roadmaps.
Coordinate with sales, product, service, supply chain, finance and commercial teams for effective execution.
Track revenue, margin, pipeline and partner performance, and provide regular business updates to management.
