Post Name/Designation: Business Development Manager with additional assignment as Company Representative

• Lead purchasing of products and components within Category Textiles and lead the IKEA office in Bangladesh (approx. 110 MEUR business).

• Secure the right pre-conditions to achieve professional long-term business development and results for Textiles and other categories in Bangladesh.

• Act as an ambassador of IKEA values and a role model for fact-based business leadership.

• Own the Leadership and Competence agenda for the business team – recruitment, development, performance management, retention and succession planning.

• Establish and manage the team's cost budget, ensuring optimal use of resources and organizational efficiency.

• Contribute to the long-term Category Business Plan as part of the Category Management team.

• As Company Representative (ISAG): Own Risk Management and Safety & Security for the Dhaka site, safeguard office operations and costs, support local recruitment, and represent the Dhaka Site in Supply Area South Asia Management meetings.

• Salary Range: Monthly USD 1,700-2000 (Negotiable)
