Job Context:
∎ Functional reporting : Team Leader
∎ Based in : Any division of Bangladesh
∎ 2.5 New Vision Generation(2.5 NVG), an inclusive Business arm of Essilor which is the market leader in corrective optical lenses. 2.5 NVG deals with good quality affordable lenses, frames, Sunglasses, Readymade spectacles etc. 2.5 NVG is working 27 countries around the globe, to reach out to maximum number of people who need vision correction, but their vision is not corrected due to several behavioral and/or socio-economic factors
∎ 2.5 NVG is implementing its operation in Bangladesh with the objective of reaching out to the people living at the Base of the Pyramid(BoP) who can`t afford to buy costlier spectacles.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Sales and distribution of spectacles, optical equipment and consumables.
∎ Need to work extensively in the market and visit retail, do the order booking and ensure supply of spectacle/products from distributors to the Point of Sales(POS). Should also have some basic knowledge about merchandising at the POS level.
∎ Maintain the business relationship with existing customers and also consistently grow the business
∎ Work on starting and sustaining business with the Eye Mitro Opticians
∎ Expnading business with various existing and new Eye Hospitals with special focus on those who has strong community outreach programmes
∎ Convince hospitals that do not dispense spectacles, to start doing the same.
∎ Provide necessary marketing support and training in optical dispensing wherever required
∎ REPORTING/COLLABORATIONS
∎ Report to Business Development Manager 2.5 NVG BD
∎ Collaborate closely with other team members of 2.5 NVG BD
∎ KEY PERFOMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)
∎ Number of POS with whom business has been initiated
∎ Number of wearers generated
∎ Meeting of the set Revenue targets

Additional Requirements:
∎ Should have spent at least 3 years with any of the following sectors- Optical retail business, agricultural products, FMCG, Consumer Durables. Basic knowledge of computer usage is mandatory
∎ Travel- minimum 80% of time (all travels will be by train/road)
∎ Should be proficient in basic computing
∎ Good communication skills in local language
∎ Ability to handle institutional clients

Salary:
∎ THIS IS A OFF-ROLE POSITION. SALARY WILL BE COMMENSURATE WITH PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AND SALARY HISTORY.

∎ TRAVEL AND OTHER REIMBURSEMENTS TO BE DONE AS PER COMPANY NORMS.
