∎ Job Description:
∎ We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and experience in the software industry. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders, clients, and development teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and ensure that our software solutions align with business goals.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to gather and document detailed business requirements. Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand client needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
∎ Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Work with clients to propose solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
∎ Documentation: Create clear and concise documentation, including use cases, process maps, business requirements documents (BRDs), and functional specifications. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
∎ Solution Design: Work closely with development teams to design software solutions that meet business requirements. Assist in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user stories.
∎ Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between clients and technical teams. Facilitate communication to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals and deliverables.
∎ Project Support: Provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet client expectations.
∎ Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to provide insights and recommendations for product improvement and innovation.
∎ Data Analysis: Analyze data and generate reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth. Use data-driven insights to support decision-making processes.
∎ Requirements:
∎ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
∎ Experience: At least [X] years of experience as a Business Analyst in the software industry or a related field.
∎ Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, such as SWOT analysis, GAP analysis, and process mapping.
∎ Technical Skills: Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. Understanding of programming languages and database management is a plus.
∎ Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
∎ Tools: Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, Confluence, and any relevant project management or CRM software.
∎ Certifications: CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or similar certifications are advantageous.
∎ Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team, and adaptability to changing project requirements.
∎ Preferred Qualifications:
∎ Experience in a specific software domain, such as fintech, healthcare, or e-commerce.
∎ Knowledge of UX/UI principles and design thinking methodologies.
