Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging news segments, features, and other video content.
∎ Collaborate with journalists, producers, and other team members to create visually appealing and informative videos.
∎ Add graphics, text overlays, sound, and other elements to enhance video content.
∎ Ensure all videos are consistent with Editorialnews24’s brand and style guidelines.
∎ Work efficiently under tight deadlines to deliver timely video content.
∎ Stay updated on the latest video editing techniques and trends to continually improve content quality.
∎ Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio of news-related or similar video content.
∎ Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
∎ Strong understanding of storytelling and visual aesthetics.
∎ Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
∎ Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
∎ Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team.
∎ Experience in news media or digital journalism.
∎ Knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
∎ Familiarity with social media video formats and trends.
