Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in pastry or bakery, with at least 2 years in a leadership role at a fine dining or 5-star hotel restaurant.

  • Strong knowledge of European and modern pastry techniques.

  • Creative mindset, good planning sense, and time management.

  • Knowledge of baking equipment, ovens, proofing, and temperature control.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

  • We are seeking a visionary Baking & Pastry Chef to lead our culinary team in creating a world-class fine dining experience. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of both classical and modern cooking techniques, menu innovation, farm-to-table philosophy, and Michelin-level presentation standards. Our pastry section focuses on refined bakery, plated desserts, and signature creations to complement the restaurant’s menu.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of artisan breads, cakes, tarts, and desserts.

  • Design and execute plated desserts and seasonal specials.

  • Manage the pastry kitchen: inventory, hygiene, and equipment maintenance.

  • Maintain consistent quality, portioning, and presentation standards.

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef for menu development and tasting.

  • Supervise assistants or commis if required.
