Experience:
Professional chef course from Parjatan (Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation) or any other institutions.
Menu & Culinary Development: Create innovative menus, develop new recipes, plan daily/weekly specials, and ensure exceptional food presentation.
Kitchen Operations Oversight: Supervise all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and plating to maintain high-quality culinary standards.
Team Leadership & Training: Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor kitchen staff including line cooks, sous chefs, and dishwashers.
Inventory & Cost Control: Manage food stock levels, order supplies, monitor kitchen expenses, control wastage, and ensure proper equipment maintenance.
Quality & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (including HACCP) to maintain a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
Customer & Business Alignment: Work closely with management on menu pricing, promotions, budgeting, and adapting to customer preferences and market trends in Fiji.
Daily Kitchen Duties: Oversee cooking, plating, prep lists, and cleaning schedules to ensure smooth kitchen workflow.
Team Communication: Conduct regular staff briefings and coordinate with front-of-house teams for seamless service.
