Experience:
Experience in a professional kitchen for CDP roles: 2–3 years for DCDP.

Food Preparation & Service:
Prepare and cook dishes according to specific recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure all food items are ready for service (mise en place).
Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and visual plating.
Section Management:
Oversee daily operations of a designated station (e.g., cold kitchen, butchery, or sauces).
Supervise and train junior staff, such as Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants.
Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth workflow during busy hours.
Inventory & Cost Control:
Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering supplies.
Implement portion control to minimize food wastage.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food items (FIFO).
Hygiene & Safety Compliance:
Enforce strict health and safety standards, including HACCP guidelines.
Maintain absolute cleanliness of the workstation and kitchen equipment.
Monitor personal hygiene and grooming standards for the team.
Menu & Process Improvement:
Collaborate with the Head Chef or Sous Chef to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
Provide feedback to improve kitchen processes and efficiency
