Japan Bangladesh Friendship Retirement Homes & Hospital — the country’s premier 5-star retirement living and healthcare facility — is seeking a highly skilled Multicuisine Chief Chef with strong expertise in senior-friendly nutrition and therapeutic diets to join our distinguished culinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient, timely, and high-quality food production.

  • Prepare and cook diverse menu items in line with daily orders, production targets, and established quality standards.

  • Ensure the kitchen is fully prepared with the necessary utensils, tools, and equipment, including knives, pans, scales, and other essentials.

  • Gather, measure, and prepare all ingredients in accordance with recipe specifications and nutritional guidelines.

  • Present all dishes in an appealing, consistent, and professional manner prior to service.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with internal and external sanitation and safety regulations.

  • Strictly adhere to all health, safety, and food-handling protocols within the kitchen area.

  • Ensure proper storage of all food items, ingredients, and supplies to maintain freshness and prevent contamination.

  • Conduct regular inspections of raw ingredients to verify quality standards and ensure optimal freshness.

  • Perform routine assessments of kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas to maintain operational efficiency and safety.

  • Monitor kitchen inventory, manage stock levels, and initiate procurement requests as needed.

  • Stay informed about contemporary culinary trends, cooking techniques, and recipe innovations to enhance menu offerings.

  • Work effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail.

  • Train, supervise, and support kitchen staff on safe food handling, proper cooking methods, and overall kitchen safety practices.

  • Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of all kitchen and storage facilities.
