∎ Experience with travel industry platforms or services is a plus.
∎ Familiarity with event-driven architecture.
∎ Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
∎ Knowledge of data security and privacy best practices.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs for our travel platform.
∎ Build scalable, efficient, and secure applications using modern web technologies and best practices.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
∎ Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum performance and reliability.
∎ Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best coding practices and quality standards.
∎ Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and continuously improve the backend infrastructure.
∎ Ensure high availability and low-latency performance of our applications.Required Skills & Experience:
∎ Strong experience in backend development (3+ years preferred).
∎ Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.
∎ Experience working with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
∎ Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.).
∎ Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
∎ Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including testing, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
∎ Experience with microservices architecture and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
∎ Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
