Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support children in the Child Friendly Space (CFS) through provision of activities including: setting up information sessions, games, recreational sessions, and emotional support sessions.
∎ Assist in the provision of group activities, skills building, information sessions and other recreational activities that promote support networks and cohesion with children and adolescent at the CFSWork with children and adolescent in the CFS to identify their needs, interests and priorities, and where possible, adapt activities according to these to ensure activities offered are culturally appropriate and meet the needs of women and girls
∎ Conduct, prepare, and help plan and organize activities with children and adolescent.
∎ Provide Psychosocial First Aid where appropriate/necessary.
∎ Adhere to and promote humanitarian guiding principles.
∎ Share with the community what options for children and adolescent care are available, including what services can be provided and what services cannot.
∎ In collaboration with the Community Workers/Volunteers, conduct awareness raising activities related to child protection and overcome the barriers to establish a child friendly society.
∎ In close collaboration with community volunteer conduct regular safety assessments to identify key risks faced by children and adolescent within their community.
∎ Support volunteers and other community members in developing key messages and strategies to address and/or mitigate risks faced by children and adolescent.
∎ Maintain positive coordination and relationships with partner and other sector staff.
∎ Ensure supplies/resources for CFS and other program activities are requested on a timely manner and are efficiently utilized.
∎ Uphold humanitarian code of conduct and adhere to and promote humanitarian guiding principles.
∎ Comply with NGO Forum for Public Health's policies and practice with respect to child protection, code of conduct, gender & equality, humanitarian responsiveness and other relevant policies.
∎ Perform other official tasks, as and when required, for the greater interest of the project/organization.
∎ Follow and maintain the disciplines properly as mentioned in the Service Rules of NGO Forum.
∎ Work in true-spirit of teamwork and preserve personal integrity and respecting the organizational hierarchy of accountability

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Ability to speak English and Cox's Bazar local language (written/verbal)
∎ Should have knowledge on humanitarian principals and attitude to work in disaster areas with/without family as and when required
∎ Positive attitude as development activities, team spirit and accommodative within team and community level.
∎ Should have working experience on GBV/SGBV/Child Protection at Rohingya Refugee context.
∎ Good communication skill

Salary: Tk. 48750 (Monthly)
