Overall, the role of a Asst. Manager (Technical) in the garments factory is pivotal in managing the technical process, ensuring standards, optimizing resources, and driving operational excellence to meet customer demands and business objectives

We are seeking a compatible Asst. Manager (Technical) who will workour Garment factory at Buripara, Yearpur, Savar, Dhaka and who meets the following Criteria:

Responsibilities:

• Develop specifications and method for new product and conducting R&D for styles

• Provides technical direction for the design, development, and systems for sample

• Analyze the technical issues of sample development & find out solution to achieve good quality product

• Check the conformity (Construction, style, fitting, specification etc.) of all types of garments

• Provide instructions on pattern making/ grading, garments Construction and sewing operations and finding alternatives.

• Brief production people according to the approval of the buyers.

• Follow up the production process are moved based on the approved production seal samples.

• Analyze and coordinate the product safety issues & technical risk assessments.

• Review the weekly sample production schedule and work out plan to determine staffing and other resources requirements to meet the deadlines.

• Supervise and direct activities of sample department to meet daily sample production target.

• Report on sample productivity, materials status to all concerns.

• Calculate fabric consumption perfectly.

• Check the quality, and colour of the fabric and arrange fabric on time.

• Implement cutting projection.

• Ensure correct use of trimming and accessories.

• Conform all samples are being produced as per the buyers’ given specification.

• Review sample prior sending for customer approval.

• Arrange pre-production sample to start production.

• Monitor, control and utilisation of men, machine and material for optimum productivity.

• Train supervisors and workers in operation of machinery and equipment.

• Lead safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace to ensure zero NC.

• Ensure cost reduction by reducing all kind of wastage.

• Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site.

• Oversee work activities of sample & CAD section

• Participate in per-production meeting

• Communicate with the quality control member accordingly.

• Evaluate staff performance, ensure sample room discipline, identify training needs and manage their career development.

• Establish effective communication with other departments to ensure that the deadlines are met.
