Responsibilities & Context: We are looking for a permanent and full-time Asst. Manager/ Sr. Executive Accounts Candidate should be proficient in Excel and software.
Responsibilities:
- Must be Maintaining Voucher, budget, Cash book, Bank book Ledger etc.
- Must be Know Microsoft Excel.
- Carry out/Record financial transaction following the standard accounting practices.
- To review & monitor Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable management.
- Check and expenditure, voucher, requisition, and cash/bank transactions.
- Ensure record keeping of all transactions and ensure accurate provisioning.
- To look after Accounts activities.
- Confirm Tax, Vat and other regulatory compliance of the organization for all kind of transactions.
- Maintain Daily & Monthly Statement.
- Capable to work under pressure.
- Checking all kinds of bill & voucher.
- Preparing Bank & Party reconciliation statement monthly basis.
- Preparing daily expenditure summary sheet and cash denomination sheet.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions as needed.
- Generate various finance and accounting related reports.
- Maintain petty cash fund for disbursements and keep proper records and keep department property ledger up to date.
- Updating the Accounts in ERP software on a regular basis.
- Well documentation of all accounting and financial papers.
- Any others job assigned by management.
Financial Management:
- Ensure quality of financial management of the organization and establish financial control mechanisms.
- Ensure all kinds of books and registers (cash book, ledger book, bank register, stock register, Asset register) for the project operation.
- Prepare financial reports (monthly, quarterly and annual financial) as needed.
- Arrange and support the project team in fund requisition and accessing necessary funds for implementation of activities.
- Supervise fund transfer and liquidation with partners and ensure smooth cash flow for the operations.
- Ensure that expenses are timely and appropriately made and charged to the relevant budget line and cost centres.
- Maintain all financial systems and records (vouchers, summary statements, receipt and payments, income and expenditure, trial balance and balance sheets) and ensure full compliance with organizational rules and regulations.
- Verify financial reports produced by the project team by reviewing supporting documents.
- Reconcile accounts including cash and bank on time.
- Prepare salary, benefit and honorarium sheet/register and arrange staff salary payments following procedures.
- Provide intensive support to partners to build their capacity in financial management in their respective organizations and interventions as and when required.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, tax/VAT and donor requirements.
- Keep a record of all financial transactions in soft and hard copies in a safe manner.
- Conduct periodical internal audits for the organization and its projects.
- Assist auditor(s) in providing accurate data and documents.
