Strong knowledge of VAT laws, Income Tax Ordinance, and local regulationsProven experience in correspondence with government authoritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong presentation and reporting skillsAnalytical mindset with attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and meet strict deadlinesProficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint)

Ensure compliance with VAT, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations

Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns, tax returns, and related filings within deadlines

Maintain proper documentation and records for VAT & tax purposes

Handle tax assessments, audits, and inspections by regulatory authorities

Maintain regular correspondence and liaison with tax authorities (e.g., NBR)

Draft official letters, replies, and documentation for regulatory communication

Monitor changes in tax laws and implement necessary updates

Ensure proper deduction and submission of VAT at source and withholding tax

Assist in tax planning, risk assessment, and cost optimization initiatives

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure tax compliance across operations

Support financial reporting by ensuring accurate tax provisions and disclosures

Prepare and deliver presentations on VAT & tax matters to management

Assist external auditors, tax consultants, and internal audit teams
