Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA)
∎ MBA (Major in finance or Accounting from reputed Universities of Bangladesh.
∎ Must be completed CACC.
∎ CA (Knowledge /application level/Part qualified or CMA/CIMA Partly qualified. ACCA/ACGA Fully qualified will get preference.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: ITP
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Accounting and Finance, Accounting and VAT, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Audit Firms /Tax Consultant, Group of Companies, Manufacturing (FMCG), Telecommunication
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintaining budgeted data for each accounts ledger/head and prepare invoices, payments and recording expenses.
∎ Prepare monthly budget variance report and share/submit to Sr. Manager / HoF.
∎ Assist to Sr. Manager / HoF for preparing yearly budget.
∎ Preparing monthly cash flows projections, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions.
∎ Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing annual projections, quarterly budget, projecting monthly cash flows, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions.
∎ Ensure all accounting posting into ERP to close monthly Accounts in stipulated time.
∎ Co-ordinate daily reconciliations with regional accounts and supervise the same in central accounts in Dhaka to finalize the monthly financial statements timely manner.
∎ ERP entries of all data.
∎ Ensure all accounting posting into ERP to close monthly Accounts in stipulated time.
∎ Co-ordinate daily reconciliations with regional accounts and check daily MIS report, CFS report, Fund position and stock summary report.
∎ To finalize the monthly financial statements timely manner.
∎ ERP entries of FDR interest accruals, interest receipt monthly.
∎ Calculate realized & unrealized gain from Shares investment in secondary market and related ERP entries.
∎ Monthly provision entries for booking costs.
∎ Monthly adjustment entries for amortizing advance, prepayments, assets.
∎ Rectification entries to rectify wrong entries, if any.
∎ Reconciliation various ledgers to update the financials regularly.
∎ All expense and others provisional posting in ERP and cross check with actual expense for preparation of monthly income statement.
∎ Preparation of monthly income statement and submit to HoF for finalization.
∎ Assisting HoF in preparing Financial Statements – Monthly, Quarterly, Half yearly & Yearly in compliance with IFRS.
∎ Support to external auditor for completing the statutory audit in time and in compliance with their requirements.
∎ Communicate with bank concerns for bank deposit & relevant issues, if any.
∎ Ensure monthly submission of VAT return, withholding tax return, statement of salary tax deduction, half yearly TDS return and yearly salary statement to comply NBR regulations.
∎ Determining cost optimization technique and applying it to optimize cost.
∎ Planning and execution of Tax & VAT management system with proper understanding of the business nature of the company so that company can be tax efficient and tax compliant.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum seven (7) years of experience in Accounts and Finance and minimum two (2) years in same position.
∎ Should have sound knowledge of all relevant laws and rules.
∎ Should have advance level skills in MS Office software especially in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
∎ Standard written & verbal command in English.
∎ Should have strong analytical, optimistic and can do attitude.
