Other Requirements

• Strong communication & presentation skills both Bangla & English.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, prints, embroidery, trims, and garment production.
• Good understanding of costing, SMV, and commercial design feasibility
• Should be proactive & dynamic, ability to work efficiently.
• Strong trend sense, color sense, and creative ability.
• Excellent coordination, teamwork, and communication skills.

Job Summary

The Fashion Designer is responsible for developing commercially viable designs aligned with fashion trends, seasonal direction, and buyer requirements. The role involves end-to-end design development—from concept creation and material selection to sample coordination, buyer presentation, and final approval—ensuring quality, timelines, and brand compliance are maintained.

Key Responsibility

• Develop new design concepts in line with fashion trends, seasonal requirements, and buyer briefs.
• Plan and manage design development timelines, buyer development schedules, and collection launches.
• Select fabrics, yarns, colors, prints, embroidery, trims, and accessories in coordination with design and merchandising teams.
• Prepare comprehensive design presentations and buyer-ready PPTs as required.
• Create and maintain sketches, technical drawings, style sheets, and specification sheets to ensure accurate execution.
• Coordinate with sample, production, and merchandising teams to ensure timely and quality sample development from initial stage to final approval.
• Monitor fittings, corrections, and final sample approval processes.
• Prepare artwork and guidelines for prints, embroidery, and washing effects.
• Ensure commercial viability of designs through effective understanding of costing and SMV.
• Develop and maintain critical paths, sample trackers, design files, and seasonal collection documentation.
• Participate in design briefings, presentations, and meetings with buyers and marketing teams to clearly understand and execute design concepts.
• Organize and coordinate product photo shoots, ensuring high-quality visuals that accurately represent designs.
• Organize the design studio during buyer visits and maintain records of selected styles for future reference.
• Ensure adherence to company brand identity, buyer compliance standards, and quality requirements.
