Responsibilities & Context:

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Video Editor at NextGen Media Academy, located in Badda, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Video Editor will be responsible for creating, editing, and enhancing video content for various media platforms. Key responsibilities include executing professional video production, performing video editing and color grading, creating motion graphics, and working with graphic elements to deliver engaging visual content. The role requires collaboration with the creative team to meet project deadlines and maintain the academy’s high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Edit high-quality video content for YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram (Reels/Shorts).

• Handle multi-camera editing for news presentation and talk show classes

• Proficiency in Video Production and Video Editing to create and refine video content

• Experience in Video Color Grading to enhance the visual quality of production

• Skills in Motion Graphics and basic Graphics to develop engaging multimedia content

• Create engaging motion graphics, lower thirds, and titles using industry-standard software.

• Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines

• Attention to detail and creativity in visual storytelling

• A bachelor's degree in Media Studies, Film Production, or a related field is a plus

• Previous experience in the media industry is advantageous but not mandatory
