Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Civil Engineering / Civil & Environment Engineering / Sanitation Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 8 years relevant working experience also may apply.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist project team by ensuring proper WASH services in designated area.
∎ Ensure effective implementation of the WASH services following the work plan through necessary guidance by the supervisor.
∎ Assist the Project Engineer in overall planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring of the project.
∎ Responsible for feasibility survey, design, prepare the estimation of quantities and cost detailed drawings and other necessary documents of WASH interventions as well as collaborative work with logistic/ procurement.
∎ Regular monitoring and supervision of different WASH infrastructure like water distribution network, production well, latrine, faecal & solid waste management facilities etc. construction, upgradation and rehabilitation as well as collaborative work with logistic/ procurement to support quotations collection, quotation evaluation, contractor selection, contracts signing, orders, work order issue and purchases.
∎ Technical supervision and cross checking of construction materials of WASH infrastructure before construction/installation with specifications, drawing, design quality and quantity.
∎ To maintain up-to-date records of all field level activities to show a status of the work, the status of construction materials, equipment at store and construction sites.
∎ Manage construction contractor by providing engineering support during project construction and process contract change orders and design revisions.
∎ Attend various internal and external meetings regarding engineering topics or issues and respond to questions and inquiries from various individuals, groups and organizations.
∎ Perform other relevant duties as required for the project as well as the organization.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 50 years
∎ Working experience with NGO, Development Agency in WASH response.
∎ Working in Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Response Program.
∎ Work experience in Cox's bazar preferable.
∎ Professional work experience in different WASH project implementation, monitoring, operation and reporting.
∎ Experience in the design, construction and supervision of WASH infrastructure.
∎ Proficient knowledge of standard computer software (AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel and project management software).
∎ Ability to communicate with people in local language (Cox's Bazaar).
∎ Medium in English (written/verbal).

Salary: Tk. 70000 (Monthly)
