Job Context:
∎ RDRS Bangladesh is inviting application to fill the position of Asstt. Counsellor under WRU Project.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ SUMMARY OF POSITION:
∎ Under the overall responsibility and control, direct supervision and guidance of the Project Manager, Asstt. Counsellor is responsible to look after Rehabilitation and Community Awareness programme under the project.
∎ JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Executing assigned project activities inside and outside rehabilitation centre;
∎ Provide counseling assistance to the GBV affected survivors and at risk girls to bring positive changes in life to ensure effective social reintegration;
∎ Assessment for identifying needs of survivors and at risk girls for skill development training and social reintegration;
∎ Assist the Counsellor by providing necessary information of the survivors and at risk girls to ensure skill development training, and social reintegration;
∎ Maintain close co-operation with Project staffs, rehabilitation centers, medical personnel and stakeholders;
∎ Maintain confidentiality and security of survivors and at risk girls information at all time;
∎ Any other tasks as and when assigned by the management.
∎ TASKS
∎ Conduct group/individual motivation and counseling session;
∎ Identify potential survivors and at risk girls with the assistance of Project staffs for counseling and skill development training;
∎ Provide necessary information and motivation for proper referral of survivors and at risk girls.
∎ Provide necessary information and motivation to the survivors and at risk girls for skill development training.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 1 years working experience in development sector specially counselling GBV/Trafficking survivors.

Salary: Tk. 20000 (Monthly)
