• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) or Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a reputable university.

• Professional certifications, such as Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP), Certified Data Center Specialist (CDCS), or equivalent, are highly desirable.

• Additional certification related to Power and Cooling systems, DC Infrastructure is a plus.

• Power and Cooling systems related hands-on experience is required
• Standards and Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of data center standards, cooling & electrical engineering principles and electrical safety regulations with the ability to ensure compliance.
• Ability to conduct periodic capacity planning, testing, perform gap assessments, carry out preventive maintenance, and analyze system failures to minimize disruptions.
• Project Management: Ability to manage and oversee multiple projects, including installations, upgrades, and maintenance, with effective planning and coordination skills.
• Proven experience managing and maintaining data center cooling, environmental monitoring items, fire systems, power distribution systems, including UPS, generators, PDUs, transformers, and switchgear.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., TIA-942, Uptime Institute standards), electrical safety regulations, and local regulatory requirements.
• Experience related to Data Centre Operations for 24/7 banking services is preferable

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Professional to manage all aspects of data center’s infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure high availability, safety, and efficiency of critical systems, including power distribution, cooling, and environmental controls, to maintain optimal operational standards. This position requires strong technical expertise, capacity management planning, project management skills, and a commitment to maintaining international industry standards, certifications and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Power Infrastructure Monitoring: Ensure continuous power supply and prevent outages through proactive monitoring. Perform regular inspections of Enterprise Online UPS. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on power systems

• Cooling and Environmental Monitoring: Utilize EMS (Environment Monitoring System) tools to monitor environmental conditions. Ensure continuous cooling and optimal airflow to prevent overheating of critical IT equipment. Ensure proper functioning of air filtration, hazardous material disposal, and fire suppression systems. Perform regular inspections of cooling infrastructure, VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus), AFFS (Automatic fire fighting system) or both. Respond quickly to temperature fluctuations, cooling system failures, and environmental alarms. Assist related suppliers and vendor managements in troubleshooting and maintenance.

• Enterprise System and Network Monitoring: Monitor servers, network devices, ATM links and critical wan backbones for performance and availability. Conduct regular system health checks to ensure operational efficiency.

• Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Assist related suppliers and vendor managements in troubleshooting and maintenance. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including facility management, IT, and to support overall data center goals. Stay updated on industry advancements and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and sustainability.

• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain documentation and reports on power incidents, maintenance logs, and energy usage. Maintain logs of system performance, incidents, and troubleshooting activities on environmental conditions and cooling system performance. Register log of Enterprise System, Network System incidents or any banking service interruption due to IT outage.
