Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop overall planning on project based protection, SGBV, PSEA and providing support to the affected communities, based on their need and project design.
∎ Develop SOP/Guidelines/ module/manual / ICE-BCC materials on protection, SGBV, PSEA.
∎ Coordinate with project based protection GBV Team Lead to provide technical support to the Protection GBV Operations team to ensure a high standard of implementation of strategy and activities.
∎ Provide individual or group psychological support such as counselling and support to Rohingya women and adolescent girls referred by the team in line with case plan objectives.
∎ He/ She must provide group psychological counselling support for Rohingya communities.
∎ He/she have to provide basic level counselling to those that have lost family members and to those that are facing increased level of distress.
∎ Closely monitor and document the psychological progress of cases referred by the case management officer.
∎ Refer cases and liaise with relevant sectorial focal in the assigned camps.
∎ Develop technical reports on specific cases identified during the individual psychological support sessions.
∎ Assist to organization Protection GBV Team Lead in proposal development for Protection GBV sector and quality reporting as per the report agreements
∎ Ensure safeguarding SOP/Guidelines and QA guidelines are being followed in the field.
∎ Monitor quality of field performance on a regular basis and Coordinate feedback meetings with the team..
∎ Flag any potential issues in implementation identified by the team to the Protection GBV Team Lead
∎ ATS-GBV have to provide awareness session for promotion of Social Cohesion by Preventing Stigma, and Stereotypes.
∎ Provides in developing content and facilitating Para counselling and Psychological First Aid training for community support group and Rohingya volunteer.
∎ Respect confidentiality of information without sharing it with any other party, also ensure that information obtained during meetings is dealt with confidentially.
∎ Share weekly/bi-weekly update of support/psychosocial counselling support provided to participants with project team.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programmes goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in working with multi-disciplinary team in a cross-culture setting.
∎ One year experience in working with marginalized/vulnerable groups.
∎ Experience and understanding of case management and analysis.
∎ Excellent knowledge of protection and GVB minimum standards and basic principles.
∎ Ability to work independently and take initiative.
∎ Passionate about the rights of marginalized people.
∎ Strong livelihood, cash programming and emergency response in working in complex, protracted emergencies in a challenging work environment.
∎ Knowledge of humanitarian principles, standards and system
∎ Teamwork spirit and community mobilization skills
∎ Good communication skills.
∎ Fluent in Chittagonian language.
