Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor or Masters degree In Nutrition, Food Science or any other relevant subject

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide nutrition counseling of patients with chronic disease on dietary management and lifestyle modification
∎ Provide early year stimulation services for children aged 0-36 months
∎ Conduct Counselling to mothers and caregivers of children under 5 years on nutritional practices and sick child care
∎ Ensure Regular service and data entry in App.
∎ Ensure and conduct IYCF counselling at Facility after delivery.
∎ Refer to higher centre for clinical service for the critical cases.
∎ Prepare diet plan for diabetic, Hypertensive, stroke, TB & Malaria patients.
∎ Consult with physicians and health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patient or client.
∎ Advise patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plans and diet modifications, and food selection and preparation.
∎ Counsel individuals and groups on basic rules of good nutrition, healthy eating habits, and nutrition monitoring to improve their quality of life.
∎ Develop curriculum and prepare manuals, visual aids, course outlines, and other materials used in teaching.
∎ Prepare and administer budgets for equipment and supplies.
∎ Manage clinical and community nutrition services.
∎ Coordinate diet counseling services.
∎ Organize, develop, analyze, test, and prepare special meals such as low-fat, low-cholesterol and chemical-free meals.
∎ Make recommendations regarding nutrition labeling, food fortification, and nutrition standards for programs.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
