Education:
FCPS Part-1 in Paediatrics / Diploma in Child Health / Post-Graduation training in a reputed hospital.
Strong administrative, organizational, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Good command of written and spoken English and Bangla.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive departmental information with discretion.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Professional, disciplined, responsible, and service-oriented attitude.
Candidates with experience in hospital/medical administration will be given preference.
Provide administrative and operational support to the Department of Paediatric Surgery.
Coordinate departmental correspondence, notices, records, files, schedules, and routine administrative activities.
Maintain and update departmental records, registers, documents, and databases as required.
Coordinate communication among consultants, medical officers, nursing staff, administrative units, patients/attendants, and other relevant stakeholders.
Assist in arranging departmental meetings, preparing agendas/minutes, maintaining action points, and following up on assigned matters.
Support the preparation of reports, statements, letters, official correspondence, and other departmental documents.
Assist in coordinating patient-related administrative matters and departmental services while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Monitor and follow up on administrative requests, requisitions, approvals, and related departmental processes.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely submission of required information to the concerned authority/office.
Use hospital/ERP systems and MS Office applications for departmental administrative activities, where applicable.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, confidentiality requirements, and instructions of management.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the competent authority.
