  • FCPS Part-1 in Paediatrics / Diploma in Child Health / Post-Graduation training in a reputed hospital.

  • Strong administrative, organizational, coordination, and interpersonal skills.    

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Bangla.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.    

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive departmental information with discretion.

  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively.    

  • Professional, disciplined, responsible, and service-oriented attitude.

  • Candidates with experience in hospital/medical administration will be given preference. 



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Department of Paediatric Surgery.

  • Coordinate departmental correspondence, notices, records, files, schedules, and routine administrative activities.

  • Maintain and update departmental records, registers, documents, and databases as required.

  • Coordinate communication among consultants, medical officers, nursing staff, administrative units, patients/attendants, and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Assist in arranging departmental meetings, preparing agendas/minutes, maintaining action points, and following up on assigned matters.

  • Support the preparation of reports, statements, letters, official correspondence, and other departmental documents.

  • Assist in coordinating patient-related administrative matters and departmental services while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Monitor and follow up on administrative requests, requisitions, approvals, and related departmental processes.

  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely submission of required information to the concerned authority/office.

  • Use hospital/ERP systems and MS Office applications for departmental administrative activities, where applicable.

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, confidentiality requirements, and instructions of management.

  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the competent authority.
