• Additional training in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, BLS/ACLS is preferred but may not always be mandatory.
• Postgraduate qualification such as FCPS/MD in Emergency Medicine may be required for senior positions.
• Relevant Emergency Medicine / Critical Care training or experience is often preferred.
• Experience in ER/ED, ICU, or acute patient management may be required depending on the hospital.
• Ability to manage trauma, cardiac emergencies, respiratory emergencies, poisoning, stroke, and other acute conditions.
• Skills in CPR/BLS; ACLS certification is commonly preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.

• Roster duty, Weekly 48 hours

• It is important to know the condition of the admitted patient well and round the admitted patient every day.

• Ability to work effectively with a team of medical professionals.

• Patient Care Providing direct medical care to inpatients and outpatients.

• Monitoring and Assessment Regularly monitoring patient progress, vital signs, and overall health.

• Medical Procedures Assisting in medical procedures, performing routine examinations, and interpreting test results.

• Responding promptly to medical emergencies and providing immediate care (IPD & OPD).

• Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including consultants, nurses, and specialists.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.

• To better understand patients and their families about their medical condition and treatment plan.

• Providing on-call coverage and responding to emergencies during their shift.
