Responsibilities & Context:

Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) <www.ypsa.org> is an organization for sustainable development working in greater Chattogram division since 1985. YPSA is implementing a project on “Child-centered anticipatory Action for better preparedness of communities and local institution in Northern & Coastal area in Bangladesh” in Chattogram district (Chattogram City Corporation & Banshkhali Upazila) in partnership with Save the Children. YPSA is inviting applications from experienced professionals with proven track record for the following position for the Project.

Duration: Up to 30th August 2026

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement project activities at the field level in line with the approved project plan.
  • Maintain regular communication with volunteers, community leaders, local government representatives, partner NGOs, and other stakeholders in the project area.
  • Organize and facilitate project activities — including capacity-building training, meetings, workshops, orientations, and community events — in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Mobilize, engage, and sensitize community members to actively participate in project initiatives.
  • Collect and document field data as per plan to ensure gender-sensitive, inclusive, and child-friendly anticipatory actions and early warning systems at the community level.
  • Support the distribution of emergency cash and essential supplies to vulnerable families, and provide cash assistance to women-led and small vulnerable businesses to protect livelihoods.
  • Prepare event reports, develop case studies, and maintain all relevant field records.
  • Ensure gender-sensitive and safeguarding approaches are applied at all stages of implementation.
  • Regularly monitor and follow up on project activities in the targeted areas.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
