Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Engineering in Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordination with local Stockholder-20%
∎ Ensure effective coordination with the local City Corporation, DC office, FSCD, BRCS, and local representative
∎ Regular Communication with Mayor, Ward Councilor and Beneficiary.
∎ Coordination with District Disaster Management community
∎ Coordination with Extraction service provider for Linkage Poor beneficiary
∎ Assist Project officer to conduct Ward/ DNCC level inception and coordination meeting.
∎ Attain in different meeting and training of Urban network and officials
∎ Coordination & networking with Local stakeholders and Beneficiaries.
∎ Supervise to Conduct FGD with the local community to get the primary beneficiary list.
∎ Supervise to conduct meeting with City Corporation and endorse the selected scheme
∎ Planning for project Activities-10%
∎ Prepare a plan for RRAP implementation.
∎ Prepare a Project activity plan to complete the project in time
∎ Organized Inception meetings with different stakeholders.
∎ Prepare a plan for conduct FGD with the local community to get the primary beneficiary list.
∎ Organize and supervise the staff field movement to achieve the project goal in time.
∎ Project Implementation-60%
∎ Monitoring construction activities as per approved BoQ and Design.
∎ Supervise to Selection of sites for Small scale construction
∎ Ensure the quality of project activities following with approved monitoring checklist.
∎ Estimate and budget for required construction materials in the field.
∎ Supervise to conduct Technical and environmental survey (pre-survey, post survey etc.) as per project requirement.
∎ Assist to Team to conduct donor visit.
∎ Support for the Procurement of materials like requisition, quotation collection, etc.
∎ Monitor the working progress & ensure the quality of project activities & inform the line manager
∎ Conduct Training sessions accordingly the project requirement.
∎ Establish CRM process for getting suggestion /to complain etc.
∎ Demonstration of Resilience Livelihood model.
∎ Beneficiary selection and Promoting Resilience livelihood in Urban Area.
∎ Risk Reduction action plan Revise and Consulted RRAP prepared under DNCC area
∎ Urban Volunteer selection and Start Green Business.
∎ Monthly WDMC, CDMC meeting organized.
∎ Case study Prepare in DRR and CC Issus
∎ Responsible for all the Ward level activities including selection of Ward, Slum, safety planning, awareness sessions, mock drills, etc.
∎ Coordination with the City Corporation and conduct relevant activities such as arranging workshops, sessions and monthly meetings.
∎ Conduct relevant activities such as arranging sessions, data collection, reporting, door-to-door coordination, event arrangement, etc.
∎ Ensure timely and quality implementation of the project activities.
∎ Ensures comprehensive and effective monitoring and reporting-10%
∎ Prepare and submit planning of the weekly activities to the line manager.
∎ Support to prepare donor reports.
∎ Prepare the monthly progress report
∎ Supervise and monitor each stage of the activities. Ensure that standards and instructions are given by the line manager, as well as Islamic Relief Bangladesh procedures,
∎ Involve DMC & other Project implementation teams for implementation of the project
∎ Propose some methodology, according to the proposal, and provide it with the experience and lessons learned from the other organizations.
∎ Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
∎ Being a member of Islamic Relief Bangladesh as a child-friendly organization, it is the core responsibility and obligation of each and every staff member to understand and obey IRB Child Protection Policy and respond accordingly as and when required.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in working with Construction work or developer related work.
∎ Experience on Urban DRR and Climate change Issue.
∎ Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/ Excel/PowerPoint/Adobe Photoshop/ Basic Internet/ Auto Cad etc.
