Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Engineering in Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure Beneficiary selection according to the IR Principle and guideline (20%)
∎ Conduct FGD with different stakeholders and communities.
∎ Conduct door to door survey to finalize beneficiary.
∎ Supervise the beneficiary's identification as per fixed selection criteria and by the methodology fixed by IR/ Consortium.
∎ Finalize the beneficiary by ensuring endorsement and validation from relevant authorities.
∎ Prepare a beneficiary list, Muster roll, etc.
∎ Project intervention monitoring (20%)
∎ Supervise construction activities at the Community level.
∎ Prepare business plans at the community level and execute them as per the proposal and organizational guidelines.
∎ Supervise and monitor each stage of the activities. Ensure that standards and instructions are given by the line manager, as well as Islamic Relief Bangladesh procedures,
∎ Monitor the working progress & ensure the quality of project activities & inform Project Manager.
∎ Ensure the construction / Installation work / Cash for work (40%)
∎ Make a plan for construction and Cash for work activities as per project need.
∎ Prepare design & BOQ of Constriction Facilities.
∎ Responsible for field construction activities.
∎ Identify feasible site for Construction facilities
∎ Prepare bills & check the bills vouchers.
∎ Conduct Technical and environmental survey (pre-survey, post-survey, etc) as per project requirement.
∎ Prepare different IEC materials related to construction work.
∎ Do effective and appropriate networking and coordination with different stakeholders. (10%)
∎ Support for organized inception meetings on different levels.
∎ Formulation of project implementation committee.
∎ Ensure the NOC after selection of scheme with relevant stakeholders.
∎ Involve UDMC & other Project implementation teams for implementation of the project
∎ Coordination & networking with stakeholders
∎ Involve UDMC & other Project implementation teams for the implementation of the project.
∎ Project reporting and documentation (10%)
∎ Prepare and submit planning of the weekly activities to the line manager:
∎ Report back any problems and constraints encountered during the course of the activities and suggest operational solutions.
∎ Support for the Procurement of materials like requisition, quotation collection, etc.
∎ Others:
∎ Propose some methodology, according to the proposal, and provide it with the experience and lessons learned from the other organizations.
∎ Support community mobilization team.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor
∎ Ensure visibility of the project.
∎ Ensure the complaint response and feedback mechanism at the field level.
∎ Being a member of Islamic Relief as a child-friendly organization, it is the core responsibility and obligation of each and every staff member to understand and obey the IR Child Protection Policy and respond accordingly as and when required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in working with Recovery and Rehabilitation
∎ Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/ Excel/PowerPoint/Adobe Photoshop/ Basic Internet/ etc.
∎ Excellent Reading/Writing/Speaking/Listening skill for English & Bengali
