∎ To implement the quality program on projects through ensuring an effective monitoring system.-50%
∎ Support and coordinate the preparatory activities of the project including office set up, participatory planning, selection of the locations, technical survey & beneficiaries’ selection.
∎ Prepare monthly work plan, break it down to daily/weekly work plan and ensure implementation of the same
∎ Build, motivate and lead a high-performing team consisting of project personnel, expert consultants, and service providers.
∎ Provide inputs in the identification of linkages between the project and other related projects to maximize the efficient and effective use of resources;
∎ Design projects implementation guideline and prepare project implementation plan (PIP) considering the proposal and local context to achieve set goals and objectives
∎ Supervise the beneficiary selection process and finalize the beneficiary list.
∎ Provide strategic direction, oversight & leadership to Project staff to manage the project.
∎ Hold overall responsibility for maintaining strict compliance with donor rules and regulations.
∎ Regularly follow-up the project activity, financial status, work progress.
∎ Prepare activity plan for project staff.
∎ Ensure that minimum standards in financial and logistics management are met to ensure accountability and transparency.
∎ Ensure a team environment through supporting project staff in the implementation of project activities and the establishment of high-quality performance targets, ensuring adherence to technical standards, best practices, and donor guidelines.
∎ Ensure that local purchase and expenditure are done as per Islamic Relief Bangladesh policy.
∎ Checking all bill vouchers within the team and forwarded to Finance officer for necessary action.
∎ Capacity Building initiatives for beneficiaries and project staff at the program level-15%
∎ Organize and conduct project orientation for new projects staff
∎ Participate and facilitate project-related awareness-raising events at the community level.
∎ Develop and conduct training and orientation relevant to Climate change, disaster resilience, resilient livelihood, and Community crisis issues
∎ Provided one to one coaching to staffs for understanding project goal and objectives
∎ Prepare a plan for RRAP implementation.
∎ Prepare a Project activity plan to complete the project in time
∎ Organized Inception meetings with different stakeholders.
∎ Prepare a plan for conduct FGD with the local community to get the primary beneficiary list.
∎ Organize and supervise the staff field movement to achieve the project goal in time.
∎ Ensure effective monitoring, evaluation, problem-solving, reporting, and documentation according to the project need-15%
∎ Ensure effective monitoring of the project activities.
∎ Review project-related crucial problems which are forwarded by the field staff and take the necessary step to resolve them on a priority basis.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and final reports as per the program and project need.
∎ Provide progress reports to the supervisor.
∎ Meet the different reporting deadlines.
∎ Maintain proper documentation and take measures to preserve it and share it with the Humanitarian and Resilience Programme in time.
∎ Archiving the project documents (hard copy and electronic copy) as per IR guidelines.
∎ Ensure the quality of project activities following with approved monitoring checklist.
∎ Assist to Team to conduct donor visits.
∎ Support for the Procurement of materials like requisition, quotation collection, etc.
∎ Monitor the working progress & ensure the quality of project activities & inform the line manager
∎ Demonstration of Resilience Livelihood model.
∎ Beneficiary selection and Promoting Resilience livelihood in Urban Area.
∎ Risk Reduction action plan Revise and Consulted RRAP prepared under DNCC area
∎ Urban Volunteer selection and Start Green Business.
∎ Monthly WDMC, CDMC meeting organized.
∎ Case study Prepare in DRR and CC Issues
∎ Responsible for all the Ward level activities including selection of Ward, Slum, safety planning, awareness sessions, mock drills, etc.
∎ Coordination with the City Corporation and conduct relevant activities such as arranging workshops, sessions, and monthly meetings.
∎ Conduct relevant activities such as arranging sessions, data collection, reporting, door-to-door coordination, event arrangement, etc.
∎ Ensure timely and quality implementation of the project activities.
∎ Ensure comprehensive and effective coordination and advocacy with different stockholders-10%
∎ Organize project inception meetings at different levels (Ward, city corporation).
∎ Liaise with partners, government representatives, donor agencies, national and international NGOs to ensure smooth implementation of the project;
∎ Participate in the different meetings in (Cluster, NGO Coordination, etc.)
∎ Involve with relevant local administration and committees such as WDMC in the implementation of the project
∎ Work alongside staffs to build their capacity in program planning and design; program management; monitoring and evaluation
∎ Ensure transparent coordination mechanisms and regular information-sharing between IR Staffs.
∎ Attend Programme Review Meeting and coordinate with the other IRB staff based in Dhaka and others.
∎ Organize lesson learning workshops for further organizational development.
∎ Organize project exit meetings at the community level and with LGIs.
∎ Collect successful project completion letters from relevant authorities.
∎ Prepare and submit planning of the weekly activities to the line manager.
∎ Support to prepare donor reports.
∎ Prepare the monthly progress report
∎ Supervise and monitor each stage of the activities. Ensure that standards and instructions are given by the line manager, as well as Islamic Relief Bangladesh procedures,
∎ Involve DMC & other Project implementation teams for implementation of the project
∎ Propose some methodology, according to the proposal, and provide it with the experience and lessons learned from the other organizations.
∎ Functional the complaint response mechanism (CRM) and feedback system-5%
∎ Ensure CRM process at all stages of the project.
∎ Maintain continuous orientation of staffs on CRM process to Ensure complain log and register at project office level
∎ Ensure the visibility of the project in different stage and level
∎ Other Requirement-5%
∎ Facilitate donor/external visits and ensure that recommendation of visitors is addressed.

∎ Responsible for seasonal (Ramadan & Qurbani) & emergency response programs if require.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor
